PEER SUPPORT GROUP
FOR MEN WHO HAVE DIVORCED OR SEPARATED
FROM AN INTERCULTURAL RELATIONSHIP

Separation and divorce can be a painful and stressful
experience. You can feel isolated and have lots of questions
about issues you’ve never faced before especially if you were
in an intercultural relationship. In the peer support group
you’ll have the chance to talk and share your experience with
others which can be very healing and empowering. In our
support group you’ll find that you are not alone, but that
there are others who understand what you are going through.
You’ll learn helpful, practical information that will help you
recover from your separation or divorce.
The topics include:
– What’s happening to me?
– The road to mental health/finding help
– The legal system
– Facing anger, depression and loneliness with meditation
– Financial survival
– The impact of divorce on children
– Forgiveness and reconciliation

The group meets 7 times once a week on Thursdays between 10.1.-21.2.
